HISTORY23.11.1948 at the first organizational meeting , the founders ( the soldiers who lost their eyesight during World War II ) found a "Blind" Knitting Cooperative Work in Poznań shares responsibility. Cooperative Management Board has set itself the task of employment for all local blind knitting and other blind , which undertook to train. The state authorities were initially skeptical about the possibility of manufacturing the blind and did not believe in the viability of such an undertaking . After the intervention of the Board of the Cooperative shall be granted credit and production begins 03.06.1949. 1949 Despite the big problems with the supply of raw materials and numerous downtime Cooperative finishes first year with a profit and increase financial status. 1960-90 - Our products reach Domów Centrum, Mody Polskiej, Społem, GS and the peak of the 309 people working. 1978-85 - Construction of the new headquarters of the Cooperative (numerous factories and workshops are located in different parts of the city which prevents effective management). 1993 - Cooperative adopted the current name Cooperative Blind "San Marko". 1999 - Launched production is for the uniformed services.
